Biography

Bala Srinivasan is a Professor of Information Technology in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University, Australia.   He has more than 30 years of experience in academia, industries and research organizations.  He has authored and jointly edited technical books and publsihed in international journals and conferences in the areas of multimedia databases, data communications, data mining and distributed systems. 

He is a gold medallist in Bachelor of Engineering Honours degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Guindy Engineering College, University of Madras, India, a Master’s and a PhD degree both in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.
