两年前我满怀憧憬，来到了东南大学、莫纳什大学苏州联合研究生院，选择了交通运输工程专业。两年后，我带着骄傲离开，选择去莫纳什继续学习。
在东蒙联合研究生院的时光是美好的，让我受益匪浅。研究生一年级，东南大学和莫纳什大学的老师分别给我们进行了专业知识上的培训。因为是全英文教学，在学习专业知识的同时，我们也锻炼了英语能力。最让我印象深刻的是莫纳什大学的老师在教学培养方面的尽责。一方面他们会认真上好每一堂课，认真批改每一次作业；另一方面他们还会以自愿的形式带着学生做一些科研项目，进一步培养我们在专业上的能力。研究生二年级是以实习和撰写硕士毕业论文为主，论文的完成以及答辩的通过标志着研究生阶段的顺利结束。
我很庆幸能来到这里读书，因为这里有和我一起欢声笑语的同学们，有对我尽心尽责的老师们和辅导员们。虽然即将离开，但是我忘不了这里的一切，也希望东蒙联合研究生院能发展的越来越好。
Two years ago, I came with hopes to SEU-Monash Joint Gradate School in Suzhou, majoring in transportation engineering. Two years later, I’m about to leave with pride, and choose to continue my study in Monash University.
Time spent here is pleasant and worthwhile. During the first year of my master, teachers from both the Southeast University and Monash University came and helped to build up our expertise. Because English was used as the main language, we were able to improve our English skills. What impressed me most was the conscientiousness of Monash lecturers. On the one hand, they tried to provide excellent classes and grade the tutorials responsibly. On the other hand, they asked students to get involved voluntarily in some research projects, which helped to further establish the professional skills. During the second year of my master, internship and master thesis were my work focus. The completion of the thesis and the approval of the defense marked the successful accomplishment of the entire master period.
I’m grateful to be here, as I have met lovely fellows and responsible teachers and counselors. Even though I’m about to leave, I can never forget this place. I sincerely hope and believe that SEU-Monash Joint Graduate School will enjoy a bright future.

我是2013级国际商务学生张肖。在东南大学联合研究生院的这两年的学习对我而言是人生中不可取代的两年。这两年的学习，将我变得更加具有国际化的视野。东南大学的老师与来自澳大利亚蒙纳士的老师完美的配合，让我们在中国就可以接受国际化的教育。同时全英文授课模式让我们最大化得提升了自己的英语能力，让我们在全球化的市场更有竞争力。两年的时间给予了我们很多的机会，一方面校方积极努力联系社会各界优秀人士对我们进行指导，另一方面苏州城市本身因为外资企业云集，金融产业发达，也为我们的实践活动提供了良好的条件支撑。
东－蒙研究院的另一优势是学生可以以最低成本赴澳洲进行一个学期的交流。2014年2月我抓住这一机会赴蒙纳士大学进行为期一个学期的学习。 学习上我们得到了当地老师无微不至的关心与照顾，生活上我们第一次真正得完全在异国独立得生活。短短的几个月我们锻炼了自己的能力，结交了来自世界各地的朋友，变得更加成熟独立。
由于英文，专业知识和国际经验等的积累铺垫，我通过联合国总部遴选，成为东南大学第一位联合国实习生，赴纽约进行为期3个月的实习。其中参加了69届联大一般性辩论以及世界环境峰会，获得了联合国以及各国外交部驻联合国代表团的好评，为母校争得荣誉。
I am ZHANG Xiao, from International Business. Two-year campus life in Suzhou Joint School is the most irreplaceable time in my life, which nurtures me into a student with international horizon. Professors and lectures from Southeast University and Monash University make the perfect teaching staff, endorsing students internationalized education without even stepping out of China. All the lectures are given in English, which contributes to our better language skills, making us more competitive in such a globalized market. Also these two years are full of various fabulous opportunities and chances. On the one hand, Southeast University plays a vivid role in introducing elites from all walks of the society providing instruction to students. On the other hand, Suzhou itself, as a city with lots of foreign companies and well-developed financial industry is playing the supportive role for students’ practical activities.
Another dominant advantage of SEU-Monash Joint School is the chance of studying in Australia at the lowest cost for one semester. I took the initiative to go to Australia in February 2014. We made friends from all over the world and become better ourselves through living completely independently.
Because of the accumulation of English, professional knowledge and international experience, United Nations (UN) Headquarter has selected me as an intern.Hence I become the first ever intern of UN from Southeast University. During my internship, I attended 69 General Assembly and World Climate Summit. My performance there was well evaluated by UN staff and over 200 countries’ foreign ministry to United Nations. This is really a great honor for me and for my mother school—Southeast University.

饱受冬夏苦滋味，春华秋实度两载。
这来之不易又饱经风霜的两年研究生生活已接近尾声。来不及品尝它的滋味，却到了说告别的时刻，继而开启人生的另一幅篇章。两年的时光因短暂而充实，也因短暂而倍加珍贵。在这里，可以在知识的天空中自由翱翔，才发现学海无涯、学而后知不足；在这里，可以尽享导师教诲，才发现从师之道，在于一言一行；在这里，可以体悟友谊的真谛，才发现千里逢胜友之乐事……
回首过去的两年，每一天都是坚定而充实的存在，这一路上的辛酸，是为生命的远行，亦为温暖我的人，也让我看到了一番别样的风景。其实，没有什么能够阻挡成长的步伐，只要有梦想，剩下的全部即是风雨兼程。
再回首，亦作挥泪而别，校园、良师、益友……渐行渐远，说不尽的感谢，道不完的感动，最后只言一句：母校，愿您一切更美好！
After suffering from the bitter taste of summer and winter during the past two years, we harvest glorious flowers in spring and solid fruits in autumn.
The past two years of graduate, hard-won and weather-beaten, is coming to an end. It is time to say goodbye and start another charter for tomorrow before we have adequate time to cherish in retrospect. The process is extremely short but a fulfilled period and worth being treasured.Like an eagle, flying freely through the sky of knowledge, finally we find the boundless sea of learning. After enjoying supervisor’s edification we find the way of apprenticeship relies on words and deeds. Furthermore, we find the essence of friendship after getting together with friends from thousands of miles away.
When recalling the past two years, each day is an existence of firmness and enrichment. The bitterness we have experienced is for the further journey of life and for the people who offer warmth from deep heart. Such an experience provides us with a unique scenery. In essence, nothing can stop the pace of growth, unless you are destined to the distance, what all you do is to struggle ahead.
Looking back again, it is a farewell full of tears. There is endless thankfulness and sensationsince the beautiful campus, teachers and friends are going further and further. In the end, all I want to say is: best wishes to my dear alma mater!

还记得开学典礼上老师们殷切的希望；还记得篮球赛场上运动员们矫健的身姿；还记得主持人大赛上选手们从容的应对；还记得元旦晚会上演员们真诚的演绎……那年九月，我们开学相聚。今年六月，我们毕业相离。时光荏苒，这些动人的画面在我心中烙下深深的印记。在东蒙，我们收获知识；在东蒙，我们成就梦想。依托苏州高教区开放式的校园环境，东蒙积极与周边高校的交流互动，为我们搭建了便利的学术交流平台。作为国内首家中外合作办学的研究生院，东蒙在师资力量、教学方法等方面具有得天独厚的优势。在这里，我们可以接受东南大学和蒙纳士大学的名师授课，实现中西方教学优势的完美融合；可以获取国内外核心电子图书资源，了解最新的研究动态；可以在课后与中外老师零距离的交流，解答心中的疑惑。两年的学习，不仅使我提高了学习水平和科研能力，更让我找到了人生方向。感谢东蒙两年来的支持。我将带着这份感动继续前行，也祝愿东蒙的明天更美好！
Do you still remember the hope raised by teachers on the opening ceremony? Do you still remember the vigorous figures of athletes in the basketball competence? Do you still remember the calm responses by competitors in the host contest? Do you still remember the sincere performance by actors in the New Year’s party? We got together in that September, but we will get apart in this June. Time flies, and all those beautiful moments have seared into my memory. In SEU-Monash, we have acquired knowledge; we have even realized our dreams. Based on the open campus environment of Suzhou Higher Education Town, SEU-Monash has its overwhelming advantages in several aspects. Here, we can attend classes given by distinguished professors from both SEU and Monash; we can have the access to the latest electronic resources at home and abroad; we can communicate with teachers from both universities face-to-face or via e-mail. After two-year’s study, I have not only improved my research ability, but also found the life goal. Thanks to SEU-Monash for supporting me, and I will cherish it in my heart in the following life. Wish a better tomorrow of SEU-Monash.

人生要经历许多的站点与交叉口，硕士这一站我十分幸运地来到了新诞生的东南大学-蒙纳士大学苏州联合研究生院。母校东南大学深厚的学术积淀和优秀学风与蒙纳士大学先进的国际化教育理念为我们提供了十分优越了科研与学习平台。老师们无私奉献、严谨求实、勇于创新的精神为我们指明了奋斗的方向，使我们明确了应该承担的责任。在联合研究生院这块学术热土上，我收获的不仅仅是学术论文，更是一套搞学术应有的态度与方法。在这毕业之际，我要特别感谢我的导师孙璐教授与刘志远教授对我科研的耐心指导与无私付出，对我生活无微不至的关心；感谢苏州研究院各位老师为我们科研与生活付出的辛勤工作与创造的十分优越的条件；感谢我的同学们对我长期以来的关心、支持与帮助。祝我们的母校不断创造新成绩，取得新突破；祝我们的老师身体健康，工作顺利；祝我们的同学们在工作上、生活上与学术上取得新进步，新惊喜！
Life is doomed to experience many stages.During theMaster Stage, I am very lucky to have the opportunity to experience scientific and academic research in Southeast University - Monash University Joint Graduate School in Suzhou. Alma mater, Southeast University encourages the school spirit of "rigor, truthfulness, unity and diligence", i.e., adopting the rigorous, truthful, realistic scientific attitude and working spirit of full cooperation. Monash University owns the advanced international education concept.They both provide us with a very superior research and learning platform. During my Master Stage, the harvest is not only of academic papers, but a set of academic attitude and method we need to abide by. On the occasion of graduation, I want to give my special thanks to my advisorsProfessor LuSun, andProfessor ZhiyuanLiufor their patient guidance and selfless dedication tomy research, as well as meticulous care to my life.
