On June 7th, 2018, the Department of Industrial Design organized the 2018th Master’s Degree Dissertation Defense Conference of Industrial Design in the Mechanical Building. The graduates who participated in the conference included the academic type of postgraduate students of the Southeast University and the professional type of postgraduate students of the Southeast University-Monash University joint graduate school.

The students were prepared carefully and reported the essence of their graduation results through the PPT. Each panel of judges responded to each student's dissertation and gave opinions to help students further improve their dissertations. Students responded to the questions raised by the judges and made amendments and improvements to their dissertations.

The dissertation defense conference is a form of standardized and rigorous examination of graduation dissertations. It can test the level of students' ability and their understanding of professional knowledge. The Department of Industrial Design strictly complied with the dissertation defense conference request and arranged for the conference. After careful preparation, the 2018th Industrial Design Master's Dissertation Defense Conference has been successfully concluded.
